Dr. Vineet Kwatra, a South Australian medical oncologist, earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2008. Following this, he completed his internship at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and pursued physician training at Flinders Medical Centre. He then embarked on advanced training in medical oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.

Vineet further honed his expertise with a 18-month stint at Guy’s Hospital in London, specializing in phase 1 clinical trials and lung cancer. Upon returning to Adelaide, he also achieved a Master’s Degree in Molecular Oncology as well as awarded FRACP in 2017. 

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing cancer care through teaching and active involvement as principal investigator in both early and late-phase clinical trials. 

Vineet also consults at Lyell McEwin Hospital, St Andrew’s Hospital, Calvary North Adelaide Hospital and Calvary Central District Hospital. 

Special interest: Lung, Gastrointestinal tract, Gynaecological, biomarker, immuno-oncology and phase 1 clinical trial.
