Dr Meena Okera

Meena currently practices at CRSA, St Andrews Hospital and Burnside Hospital, as well as holding a part-time position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Her area of expertise is in breast and gynaecological tumours and she has been principal investigator of several clinical trials in this area. As a result of her participation in international clinical trials, Meena has co-authored a multitude of scientific publications in the breast cancer arena.

In the clinic, Meena is well known for her caring open personality, taking time to understand her patients’ needs and perspectives. She began her specialist training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and completed it at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London in 2010, undertaking a fellowship there in breast & gynaecological tumours.
