
Dr Aye Aye Gyi
Aye Aye brings over 18 years of experience in the clinical research industry, spanning public and private hospitals as well as academic settings, in roles including Clinical Trials Coordinator, Clinical Data Manager, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and Senior Clinical Research Associate. Her career includes 10 years in neurosurgery (adult and paediatric) and critical care, 4 years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide, and ongoing experience in medical oncology since 2021.
In medical oncology, she has managed Phase I–III trials across multiple tumour streams, including metastatic solid tumours such as breast and lung cancers.
Aye Aye has a PhD in Medicine from La Trobe University, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Adelaide, and an MBBS from the Institute of Medicine, Myanmar.
Collaboration and effective communication are central to her practice. She is passionate about advancing healthcare through clinical innovation and contributing to the development of robust, evidence-based therapies that improve patient outcomes.
